WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY FIRST ORDER?

For your purchases in private sales and in the shop you are generally delivered a short week after your order or after the date of shipment of the private sale when this date is deferred.

You will receive your first order within 10 days after your subscription. . 

After that, you will receive your order in the middle of each month.

When your order leaves the warehouse of PORTOVINTAGE.COM, you will be informed about the expected date of delivery by email.

IS THE SHIPMENT SAFE?

Yes, 100%. All shipments are insured in a box of rigid expanded polystyrene. This material has a double advantage:

  • Its resistance protects the bottles from any shocks during the transportation.
  • Its insulating power also protects the contents of the bottles against thermal shock.

Moreover, each box is hermetically sealed by a strip that guarantees that the box will not be opened during the transportation.

WHO MANAGES ALL THE SHIPMENTS?

Our shipping method guarantees that your wine remains stored in the producers' cellars for as long as possible. After for a short period of time, your wine stays at our warehouse just for the logistic treatment and finally  will deliver the order at your door.

HOW WILL I BE INFORMED OF MY DELIVERY?

When your order leaves our warehouse, you are informed by email of the expected delivery date. Then, it is  (our logistic partner) who takes over and keeps you informed by email or SMS.

WHEN AND HOW WILL I KNOW WHICH PORTS ARE PROPOSED FOR THE NEXT MONTH?

Every month, when our Committee Selection chooses new Port wines, you will receive an email with a technical sheet and the reasons for the preference.

WILL THE PRICES INCREASE?

It is not our intention. We will do everything to mantain the current prices. However, if it ins't possible to do otherwise, we will always inform you in advance.

HOW TO NAME AN ADDRESS?

It's always in MY ACCOUNT that you can give a name to an address

First to create your account

  • After creating your account, go to MY ACCOUNT, tab ADD FIRST ADDRESS
  • NEW ADDRESS page, 1st line Name this address, for example "home"
  • REGISTER then on the page YOUR ADDRESSES add if necessary another address by clicking CREATE A NEW ADDRESS, for example "shipping"

Then when you are in MY CART

In ADDRESSES appear the addresses created in MY ACCOUNT. If these addresses do not suit you, because you want to change the billing address for example or have a gift delivered:

  • Enter the new address directly in the ADDRESSES section of MY ORDERS and REGISTER
  • Go to MY ACCOUNT, tab ADDRESSES
  • Under the newly entered address, click UPDATE
  • On the page UPDATE YOUR ADDRESS, 1st line Name this address, for example "billing" or "gift"
  • REGISTER and return to MY ACCOUNT

CAN I CHANGE THE DELIVERY ADDRESS OF MY SUBSCRIPTION DURING THE SHIPMENT?

If you want to change your delivery address, do it directly on our website by going to the "My Account" page. Your request will be processed within 48 hours.

Attention: Given the 48 hour update time, the responsability of PORTOVINTAGE.COM for possible delivery problems can only be engaged for orders shipped after the address update. We will ask you to notify us as soon as possible.

WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING FEES?

For delivery to the address of your choice in Belgium and mainland France (excluding Corsica and Monaco), shipping (which includes the rigid expanded polystyrene box) costs 9,90€.

ARE THERE ANY OTHER FEES TO PAY FOR RECEIVING THE BOX?

No, absolutely not. In mainland France (except Corsica and Monaco), and in the rest of Europe, prices are net and include VAT (Value Added Tax) and all duties on alcohol. You have nothing else to pay when you receive the box.
