Born from an extreme year, this Colheita has a power and boldness all of its own.
Technical wine sheet
Despite the challenges of a scorching, arid year, this 2003 Colheita triumphs with an exceptionally rich and bold character. The nose is generous and assertive, leading with ripe plum and luscious figs with a subtle floral hint. On the palate it is concentrated and vigorous, with candied cherries and fresh fruit giving way to a rich, spicy finish. The extreme conditions of 2003 forged a wine of powerful identity that shines two decades on.
