Technical wine sheet
The 1997 vintage is widely recognised as one of the finest of the decade for Port. This Colheita perfectly embodies that distinction. The nose is subtle and inviting, opening on candied fruit and fresh berry aromas. The palate is elegant and refined, with a velvety texture and a rich medley of crème brûlée, nutty undertones and a hint of caramel. Bright acidity keeps the wine lively and fresh. The finish brings a delightful note of grilled hazelnuts that lingers on and on.
