A superb single-harvest Colheita from an acclaimed year. Silky, complex and deeply satisfying.
Technical wine sheet
Drawn from the acclaimed 1995 harvest and matured for decades in seasoned oak, this Colheita captures the silken depth only time can give. Amber-tawny in colour with a mahogany rim. The nose unfolds in aromas of dried fig, apricot and orange peel, deepening into toffee, toasted almond and whispers of vanilla and cinnamon. On the palate it is plush yet lifted, with caramelised citrus, sultana and roasted nuts carried by bright Douro acidity. The finish lingers long with nutty, cocoa-tinged warmth.
