90 Points, Decanter. A silky, complex 20-year Tawny that sets the benchmark for the style.
Technical wine sheet
A beautiful warm brown with amber nuances. The nose opens on almonds and caramelised nuts, lifted by a subtle hint of coconut that adds an unexpected brightness. In the mouth it is soft and delicate, with a silken texture that speaks of patient ageing. The fruit has been quietly transformed into caramel, dried apricot and a hint of clove, and the finish is long, graceful and deeply satisfying. 90 Points, Decanter.
