The vocation of PORTOVINTAGE.COM is to allow true amateurs to discover Portuguese wines direct from small producers.
Portugal is indeed the other great country of wine. In addition to the Portos (which deserved the 1st designation of origin in 1756), Portugal has wines that compete with the best in the world.
The variety of its soils and climates, Mediterranean type, cold in winter or oceanic, the diversity of its grape varieties and the growing technicality of its winemakers make Portugal the wine country with which it is now necessary to count.
HE SELECTION COMMITTEE
The selection committee PORTOVINTAGE.COM qualifies only the wines and ports that gave him the greatest emotions, including among unknown producers.
The selection committee includes as permanent members Joao PULIDO, the director, Rodrigo GARCIA, agronomist and Sylvain FAVARD, the French friend. Depending on the nature of the wines tasted, they also participate in the selection committee of regional specialists working with PORTOVINTAGE.COM.
In each property there are always several vintages in each category of wine or port. Although sold under the same label, all these wines are not valid from a qualitative point of view.
PORTOVINTAGE.COM thus makes it possible to reserve the best vintages directly on the property. Most of the selected wines and portals are not found elsewhere.

PORTOVINTAGE.COM is located in Portugal, close to producers, but customer service is provided in several languages.
In the Lisbon office, three people are fluent in French. They can advise you on the choice of wines, help you place your order, inquire about deliveries.
They can also accompany you in the search for a specific wine, for example a very old Porto in a vintage of your choice ...

SECURE DELIVERY OF QUALITY
All our wines and portals are stored in the producers' cellars for as long as possible. As soon as the wines are delivered to our warehouse, we check each bottle received and set up the shipping boxes.
All our shipments are insured in rigid expanded polystyrene box or reinforced cardboard. These packages have a double advantage. Their resistance protects against possible physical shocks during transport and their insulating power against possible temperature differences.
Moreover each box is hermetically closed by a guarantee strip which allows to control on reception that the box was not opened during the transport.
When your box leaves PORTOVINTAGE.COM's warehouse, you are informed by email of the expected delivery date.
Then GLS, the operator chosen by PORTOVINTAGE.COM for international deliveries, takes over. He keeps you informed by email or SMS of the support of your box in our warehouse until its delivery to you.
