No, absolutely not. There is no admission fee. Registration is free.

I MUST SUBSCRIBE TO BE A MEMBER?

Yes, it's essential for 3 reasons:

  • The first reason is because the available wine quantities are limited.

In each producer, for each category of port and wine, there are always several cuvées available, often in small quantities. And although sold under the same name, all these wines are not the same. The tasting committee finds the best wines and reserves for PORTOVINTAGE.COM.

  • The second concerns the famous "third-party law" imposed on producers. This law stipulates that each producer may only sell one third of his current stock in every kind of Port, which further limits the availability of the products.
  • The third is that all the wines that are offered by PORTOVINTAGE.COM are exclusive and given the rarity of Port wines, the Club must order from producers according to the reserved quantities. 

For these reasons, considering the rarity of the products offered, PORTOVINTAGE.COM must order from the producers the quantities reserved by its subscribing customers at the time of their subscription.

WHAT DOES IT CONSIST IN?

It is very simple. The Selection Committee chooses every month 2 beautiful botevery monthtles of 2 different Portuguese wines for each subscription plan. These bottles are shipped with the full guarantee, according to you instructions at the time of the order. You are informed in advance of the current shipment and you have 5 days to decide. This is a unique opportunity to integrate the underrated world of Ports, with exclusive live offers from producers. Only members with active plans are informed of the varieties.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO SUSPEND THE SUBSCRIPTION TEMPORARILY?

Yes, of course, you just need to call our Customer Service line. Another call is enough to reactivate your subscription.

CAN I UNSUBSCRIBE AT ANY TIME?

Yes. There is no minimum period of commitment. You just need to call to our Customer Service line.

WHEN AND HOW WILL I KNOW WHICH WINES ARE THE NEXT BOX?

At the beginning of each month you will receive an email presentation of the new box PORTOVINTAGE.COM including the technical sheet of the wines, as well as a comment on the reasons for their selection.

WHAT SHOULD I DO TO RECEIVE EVERY MONTH MY SUBSCRIPTION? MUST I ASK FOR IT?

No, you don't need to do anything. PORTOVINTAGE.COM automatically manages the shipment. The exit of your box from the warehouse takes place in the middle of the month.

If you want more bottles than the reserved amount, you just need to send us an email to bonjour@portovintage.com. Your usual order will be completed according to your request.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY BOX FROM AUGUST?

In July, this will allow you to take it with you in your summer vacations.

HOW ARE PORT WINES SELECTED?

The Selection Committee members meet regularly with new producers. They visit not only the best producers they already know but also producers whose quality has steadily increased in recent years.

In each producer, Port wines are systematically tasted. What the Selection Committee is looking for the best quality in each type of Port.

If the Selection Committee is not convinced, we won't sell it. It's very simple!

CAN I REDEEM THE PORTS THAT I RECEIVED?

Probably not. Due to the wine scarcity, we cannot guarantee stock for future orders. 

WILL SUBSCRIPTION PRICES INCREASE?

PORTOVINTAGE.COM did not foresee it. We will do everything to maintain the current prices. However, if it is not possible to do otherwise, you will be informed in advance of the necessary changes.
